COMPLETE HIGH PERFORMANCE BASE
STATION MAGNETOMETER SYSTEM. For
recording diurnal (temporal) variations in the
earths magnetic field in a fixed location and
performing corrections on roving magnetometer
data. Portable system includes Cesium-vapor
magnetometer, Tallysman TW5341 nonmagnetic GPS receiver, non magnetic tripod
stand, and data logger for stationary long-term
recording of the local magnetic field.
Magnetometer is synchronized to the integrated
GPS receiver to provide a 10 Hz system sample
rate. Magnetometer's measurements and
concatenated GPS data are automatically
recorded on a military specification USB thumb
drive. Display of magnetic field and GPS position
available through built in Bluetooth interface and
Geometrics Android application. System is
designed for extended outdoor use with all
electronic components secured in weather
resistant enclosures . This base station
magnetometer system operates from a usersupplied 9 to 35 VDC external power source.
The system is shipped with a AC-DC power
adapter (110 to 240 VAC), and packed in a
